Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming action film, previously referred to as #NBK111, has officially received the title ‘Dada’. The makers have also confirmed December 24 as its theatrical release date.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, the title was announced through a poster and a glimpse introducing Balakrishna’s character.
The promotional material presents Balakrishna in a powerful mass avatar. His appearance, featuring sunglasses, a leather jacket and a prominent gold chain, complements the larger-than-life image created for his character.
The title glimpse portrays his character as an intimidating figure who finds himself surrounded by police officers. A confrontation between him and the police forms the central moment of the video.
Director Gopichand Malineni has once again presented Balakrishna in an action-heavy role, with S Thaman’s background score adding to the intensity of the promotional video.
The makers have described the protagonist as the ‘King of Chaos’, indicating that the film is being positioned as a high-energy action entertainer. ‘Dada’ is scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 24, during the Christmas holiday period.
Manoj Manchu and Kajal Aggarwal are also part of the cast. The film reunites Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni after their earlier collaboration ‘Veera Simha Reddy’.
The technical crew includes cinematographer Arvind S Kashyap, composer S Thaman, production designer AS Prakash and editor Navin Nooli. Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues, while the action sequences are choreographed by Ram Lakshman, Ravi Varma and Vvenkat.
