Anumol has spoken about the response to her character Radhi in the JioHotstar series ‘Heart Beat’, saying that messages from viewers have revealed how deeply the role has connected with some women.
The actor plays a determined doctor in the series, and her portrayal has attracted considerable attention among viewers. According to Anumol, several women have told her that Radhi’s journey encouraged them to pursue goals they had previously treated as mere aspirations.
In an interview, the actor recalled receiving messages from viewers who said they had taken concrete steps after watching the character. These included obtaining a driving licence, pursuing beautician courses and even starting businesses inspired by Radhi.
Anumol said the response has gone beyond appreciation for her performance, with viewers finding a sense of connection with different characters and experiences portrayed in ‘Heart Beat’.
The actor, who entered the film industry in 2010, has also built a Tamil audience through the series. Her upcoming feature is ‘Paris Cafe’, in which she shares the lead with Guru Somasundaram.
‘Paris Cafe’ is scheduled to reach theatres on September 18, while the third season of ‘Heart Beat’ is currently streaming on JioHotstar.
