Reports had been doing the rounds that actor Vijay and his wife of 22 years, have gone separate ways and headed for a divorce.
It all started when the actor’s Wikipedia page showed ‘divorced’ in 2022 beside his spouse’s name.
Fans then started making speculations that Sangeetha might actually have parted ways with ‘Thalapathy’ since she was absent from Atlee’s wife Priya’s baby shower and during Varisu’s music launch.
However, the rumours are false. Reports said that Sangeetha was missing from the picture because she was in the US with the couple’s children.
Source also said, “The rumours of Vijay and Sangeetha’s divorce are baseless. We have no idea how it started.”
