Tamil filmmaker and actor Abishan Jeevinth, who rose to prominence with the success of ‘Tourist Family’, has announced the arrival of his first child with wife Akkila.
The young director shared the happy news on Instagram on Monday, posting a photograph of himself holding his newborn daughter. He captioned the picture, “Officially A Girl Dad :),” celebrating his new role as a father.
The announcement comes shortly after the couple marked their first wedding anniversary. Abishan had shared an affectionate message for Akkila, expressing gratitude for her constant presence in his life.
“You stayed with me, you’re staying with me, and you stay with me,” he wrote in his anniversary post.
Abishan and Akkila tied the knot in October last year in a grand ceremony at Hanu Reddy’s Poes Garden in Chennai. The wedding was attended by their families, relatives and close friends.
The couple’s latest milestone has drawn warm wishes from fans and well-wishers, as the filmmaker begins a new chapter in his personal life.
