In a powerful address after filing his election nomination in Trichy, TVK chief Vijay broke his silence on the stalling of his final film, ‘Jana Nayagan’.
The actor explicitly alleged that a “solid political conspiracy” by the ruling central and state powers blocked the film’s release to prevent him from strengthening his bond with the people ahead of the 2026 elections.
Vijay stated that authorities feared the film would become a “powerful weapon” in his political campaign.
Despite the producers, KVN Productions, fighting a legal battle over CBFC certification delays, the film remains unreleased.
During his speech, which has since gone viral, Vijay also called for justice regarding the recent Karur stampede, framing both incidents as coordinated efforts to oppose his political rise.
