‘Vettaiyadu Vilayadu’ to be back with a bang

Kamal Haasan is all set to be back as DCP Raghavan as his cop film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu is gearing up for a re-release. The remastered version of the film is likely to hit screens in June. However, the exact date is yet to be announced.
‘Vettaiyaadu Vilayadu’ originally hit screens in 2006. The neo noir crime thriller featured Kamal Haasan, Jyotika and Kamalinee Mukherjee in the lead, along with Prakash Raj, Daniel Balaji and Salim Baig.
The plot revolves around a police officer who is a hunt for two criminals. The film was a massive hit at the box office.
Kamal Haasan is currently busy with his upcoming flick ‘Indian 2’. We hear that the actor has already completed dubbing for his portions filmed so far even as the film progresses to the last leg of shoot.
The shooting is currently happening in Chennai. ‘Indian 2’ is helmed by Shankar.
The film has an ensemble star cast which includes Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani to name a few.
