Sundar C’s long-delayed ‘Thalainagaram 2’ is all set to hit screens on June 23.
The film, written and directed by Dhorai VZ, is a sequel to Thalai Nagaram (2006).
Pallak Lalwani plays the leading lady in the film. Sundar C reprises his character Rightu from the original, however, this time around, the actor will be seen in a much more violent, blood-spattering avatar.
Going by the film’s trailer, which was released recently, a bunch of ruffians seem to be all set to take revenge on Rightu, who is a hurdle to them and Rightu takes them on single-handedly, with the help of his sickle.
The supporting cast includes Thambi Ramaiah, ‘Baahubali Prabhakar, Aayira, Jaise Jose, Vishal Rajan, Seran Raj. Music is by Ghibran, cinematography by E Krishnaswamy and editing by R Sudharshan.
