Actor Swasika has confirmed that she is part of an upcoming film being produced by Pradeep Ranganathan. The project, which is currently under production, features Mamitha Baiju in the lead role and Ashwath Marimuthu in a prominent character.
Speaking about the film, Swasika revealed that shooting has already commenced and described her role as a substantial one. She also confirmed that Ashwath Marimuthu will be making his debut as a lead actor through the project.
While details about the story and director remain under wraps, industry reports indicate that the film will focus primarily on a female protagonist. There is also speculation that Ashwath’s character may be that of a police officer.
The untitled venture represents Pradeep Ranganathan’s second outing as a producer and reunites him with both Mamitha Baiju and Ashwath Marimuthu following their previous collaborations.
