With less than two months to go for the release of ‘Maaveeran’, the team has begun the post-production work of the film.
The makers of the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer recently dropped a short video which gives a sneak peek into the dubbing session.
In the video, Sivakarthikeyan is seen inaugurating the session after a small pooja. Standing next to him is the film’s director Madonne Ashwin.
Now the latest update is that the actor has completed dubbing for his portions in the movie.
This is the maiden collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan, Madonne Ashwin and Aditi Shankar. The supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Sunil and Saritha.
Madonne Ashwin had earlier helmed Yogi Babu’s ‘Mandela’, which received a lot of critical acclaim and won the National Award.
Maaveeran’s release date was originally announced as August 11 as an Independence Day special.
However, after the makers of Superstar Rajinikanth and Nelson Dilipkumar’s ‘Jailer’ announced the release date as August 10, the ‘Maaveeran’ team moved the release ahead to June 14.
