Actor Siddharth had to make an unexpected exit during a press conference in Bengaluru after a bunch of angry protestors stormed the venue where the actor was promoting his latest film, ‘Chithha’.
Siddharth was speaking about the film, ‘Chithha’ (releasing in Kannada as ‘Chikku’) when angry protestors entered the venue and tried to stop the press conference.
Siddharth, who remained unfazed at the beginning and addressed the media in Kannada, had to later give in and exit the venue as the protesters’ clamour became louder.
The protestors also asked the media personnel why they were interviewing the actor, who is promoting a Tamil film in the state. “Do you need this, sir? You should be promoting the film in Tamil Nadu, not here,” said one of the protestors. “Do you need this promotion at a time when the Cauvery water dispute row is heating up in the state?” he added. Siddharth finally left the stage.
