Silambarasan TR’s 51st film, tentatively titled ‘STR 51’ or ‘God of Love’, is said to be on track and is scheduled to begin shooting in September 2025.
Ashwath Marimuthu, known for his successful films like ‘Oh My Kadavule’ and ‘Dragon’ is writing and directing this film.
The project is being produced by AGS Entertainment, a banner known for its successful ventures.
The movie reportedly explores love across generations and may involve Silambarsan’s character going on a quest to fulfill love and battle entities that are the opposite of love.
The female lead has reportedly been finalised, with official announcements expected in August. The film is aiming for a Deepavali 2026 release.
