A few days ago, the makers of Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ announced that the period action drama will grace the cinemas on October 10, 2024.
The announcement by ‘Kanguva’ makers indeed took everyone by surprise, as two biggies are set for release on the same day.
However, the word in the film circles is that Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyan’ release has been pushed to Deepavali and will make way for the Suriya starrer to have a solo release.
An official confirmation from ‘Vettaiyan’ makers is expected to come out soon.
TJ Gnanavel is directing ‘Vettaiyan’. The movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, GM Sundar, Rohini, and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles.
Subaskaran is producing the movie under the Lyca Productions banner, and Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
