Rajinikanth’s ‘Dharman’ continues Chennai shoot; grand hospital set hosts key sequences

Work on ‘Dharman’, starring Superstar Rajinikanth, is moving steadily in Chennai. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, the film is expected to remain on floors in the city for the next couple of months.

Industry buzz suggests that most of the current schedule has been planned in Chennai. If additional filming is required, the team may later head to Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City for another schedule.

A specially constructed hospital set has become the backdrop for several important scenes, including action episodes, dialogue portions, and Rajinikanth’s introductory song. The opening dance sequence, choreographed by Sandy Master, is reportedly being filmed on a lavish scale and is expected to be one of the highlights of the film.

The cast also includes Simran and Raashi Khanna in prominent roles. While Simran is reportedly paired opposite Rajinikanth, Raashi Khanna is said to portray an important character that significantly influences the storyline.

Sources say the atmosphere on the sets has been upbeat, with Rajinikanth actively participating throughout the schedule. The rapport between the veteran actor and director Ashwath Marimuthu has also drawn positive attention among the crew.

With music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, ‘Dharman’ continues to build anticipation, thanks to the combination of Rajinikanth, Ashwath Marimuthu, RKFI, and Anirudh.
