In this bio-pic on Nambi Narayanan, a former Indian scientist and aerospace engineer of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) who was accused of espionage, Madhavan has played the lead role besides wielding the megaphone.
Talking about the film in a video interaction, the ‘Alaipayuthey’ and ‘Vikram Vedha’ actor said, “I have full confidence that this film will be one the best stories I have so far told in my career. I am not sure how many people know how much about Nambi Narayanan.”
He added: “A lot of people have researched about him on the internet after I announced that am doing a film on him. But I can say with a lot of confidence that whatever about him needs to be on the internet is not there.”
According to Madhavan, the film is not about the false case on Nambi Narayanan as many believe so. Nambi Narayanan is a sort of Abdul Kalam meets James Bond type of person.
Simran and Ravi Raghavendra play important roles in the movie, while Suriya will appear as himself in a cameo thanks to his friendship with Madhavan.
