The shooting of ‘Amaran’, Sivakarthikeyan’s new film, has reached the final stages of shooting and the makers have nearly wrapped up with the filming.
Announcing the same on social media, the team shared a short video of the team, along with the protagonist Sivakarthikeyan.
Amaran is directed by filmmaker Rajkumar Periasamy, who previously helmed ‘Rangoon’.
Kamal Haasan is backing the film under the home banner of Raaj Kamal Films International.
Headlined by Sivakarthikeyan, the film is a biopic of Mukund Varadarajan, who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army’s Rajput Regiment.
He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his operation with the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion.
Apart from Sivakarthikeyan, the film also stars actors Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, and Lallu in significant roles. Their roles are kept under wraps. Rumours suggest that there is a key cameo by Kamal Haasan. But an official confirmation is awaited.
