Raghava Lawrence recently clarified that ‘Chandramukhi 2’ was not shelved.
‘Chandramukhi 2’ is to be directed by P Vasu, and the preliminary work for the film is heading regularly.
It is speculated that Rajinikanth and Raghava Lawrence will be playing prominent roles in the movie.
It was earlier said that Sun Pictures will be bankrolling the project, but the latest buzz is that production of the movie has changed hands to Lyca Productions.
An official announcement regarding this is expected to be made soon.
The sequel to the blockbuster drama is announced to happen after fifteen years, and Raghava Lawrence will be playing the lead role as Vettaiyan.
Meanwhile, Raghava Lawrence is working on ‘Rudhran’ with Kathiresan, and the first schedule of shooting was wrapped up recently.
