HistoRRRy made as Naatu Naatu bags  Oscar for Best Original Score

Naatu Naatu song from S S Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ bagged the Oscar in the Best Original Score category at the 95th Academy Award ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Janelle Monae and Kate Hudson announced that Naatu Naatu, composed by MM Keeravaani and sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, has bagged the prestigious Academy Award. With this, Naatu Naatu becomes the first Indian song that won an Oscar.
MM Keeravaani and lyricist Chandrabose received the award and in his winning speech, MM Keeravaani has said thanked Rajamouli, Karthikeya and the one who made the song a global hit. He sang a special about Rajamouli, which grabbed the attention of the attendees.
Meanwhile, ‘The Elephant Whisperer’ Directed by the debutant director Kartiki Gonsalves, won the Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Film category.
