The production of the period action-drama ‘Arasan’ has officially moved into its second phase of shooting in rural Tamil Nadu.
The current schedule involves filming high-octane action sequences featuring the lead cast in a specially erected set representing an ancient fortress.
The film, which features an ensemble of rising stars, is being directed by a National Award-winning filmmaker known for grounded storytelling.
The makers are aiming to wrap up the entire talkie portion by the end of April 2026 to allow for extensive post-production work.
The first phase was recently completed in the dense forests of the Western Ghats, adding a raw, natural aesthetic to the film’s visuals.
