Ajith RedAnt Racing has finished second in the 24H Barcelona endurance race, adding another podium result to the team’s growing record in international motorsport.
The event is part of the 24H Creventic Series, with Ajith Kumar Racing joining forces with Belgian outfit RedAnt Racing for its international racing campaign.
Following the result, Ajith Kumar’s publicist Suresh Chandra shared photographs of the actor and professional racer celebrating alongside his teammates. One of the images shows Ajith posing with a national flag after the podium finish.
The team’s social media handles also celebrated the result, describing it as a proud moment for India on the international racing stage.
Ajith Kumar Racing has already collected several podium finishes since entering the 24H Creventic Series. Its campaign has included appearances at circuits such as Dubai Autodrome, Mugello in Italy, Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain.
While motorsport remains an important part of Ajith’s professional interests, the actor is also preparing to return to cinema. He is expected to begin work on his next film, ‘Daredevil’, in November.
The makers have announced November 2 as the date when production is scheduled to begin. The project reunites Ajith with director Adhik Ravichandran, who previously worked with him on ‘Good Bad Ugly’.
The film will be produced by Ajith’s wife Shalini under her Bravehearts Production banner, marking her first venture as a producer.
The technical crew includes Anirudh as composer, Abinandhan Ramanujam as cinematographer, Vijay Velukutty as editor, Supreme Sundar as stunt choreographer and Suren as sound designer.
Ajith has also spoken about returning to motorsport after completing the shooting schedule for ‘Daredevil’, indicating that his racing commitments will continue alongside his film career.
