A.R. Rahman honours BSF troops with patriotic concert at Attari border
Renowned composer A.R. Rahman delivered a patriotic musical tribute to the Border Security Force (BSF) during a special event at Punjab’s Attari border, celebrating the dedication of the troops safeguarding India’s boundaries.
The concert, titled ‘Jai Ho – A Tribute to the Bravehearts’, took place alongside the famous daily retreat ceremony, weaving patriotic music into the evening’s proceedings as a gesture of gratitude for the frontline soldiers.
The event doubled as a promotional initiative for the upcoming movie ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’. Key figures from the project joined the celebration, including director Imtiaz Ali, actor Vedang Raina and technicians.
According to the organisers, the initiative aimed to recognise the immense hardships endured by border security forces. By blending the worlds of Indian cinema, music, and national pride, the performance offered a unique cultural tribute against the backdrop of the historic Wagah-Attari crossing, drawing a massive crowd of enthusiastic spectators.
