‘The Legend’ – Review by Naveen Rank 3.5/5

Grand beginning

The Legend                                                    – Review.

Not many actors who are making their debut will create such a buzz that Legend Saravanan has created with this maiden film ‘The Legend’.

The movie has been released today and let us take a look at if it has lived up to the expectations.

Going with the trend of recent movies, the story of ‘The Legend’ is based on the medical mafia.

The movie begins with renowned scientist Saravanan returning from abroad after many years.

On his return he comes to know about how diabetes is affecting the life of the people.

He tries to put an end to this problem. But problems arise when a medical mafia does not want him to find a solution.

What happens next forms the rest of the story. Directors JD-Jerry have ensured that Saravanan gets a proper commercial debut with all the elements.

There are enough action sequences, songs, punch dialogues and emotions throughout the movie.

Saravanan makes a decent debut as an actor, the hard work that he has put in for the role is visible on screen.

Rest of the cast have also delivered what was expected from them. Urvashi Rautela, Suman, Vivekh and Yogi get to play important roles.

With bright visuals, Velraj’s cinematography is noteworthy. Harris Jayaraj’s songs are impressive and BGM gels with the movie. Ruben’s editing is crisp. A better writing would have made the movie all the more interesting.

Rank : 3.5/5.
