Maruthi Nagar Police Station
– Review
Police officer Varalaxmi’s friend Mahat goes missing soon after he speaks to her over the phone.
When she finds out that her friend has been murdered, that too with the help of a police officer, she hatches a plan along with her three friends to avenge his death.
But when their plans are about to be executed, the potential victims get killed by a mysterious person, leaving the four friends clueless.
What happens next, who is actually behind Mahat’s murders, Was Varalaxmi and her team able to take their revenge forms the rest of the story.
Directed by Dayal Padmanabhan, the movie has its twists and turns to keep the audience engaged.
The mystery surrounding the death and the identity of the murderer is maintained till the very last.
The film is ably supported by some very good performances.
Varalaxmi is impressive in her role and is ably supported by Santhosh Prathap, Vivek Rajagopal and Yasar.
However, it is Arav as the ACP who steals the show. He is compelling as the shrewd and composed police officer.
Music by Manikanth Kadri and camerawork by Shekar Chandru have complimented the theme of the movie well.
