Once upon a time a sage gives an important magic potion to a person. It is a medicine that keeps a person young forever. But once in twelve years the medicine should be renewed.
Now coming to the present, a young girl Kavipiriya Manokaran who grew up in an orphanage is in love with Michael Thangadurai.
Their ambition is to earn a lot of money to develop their business.
Since, he cannot generate the funds needed for the business, Kavipriya goes to work caring for an elderly woman who lives in a lonely house in a mountainous forest far from the city.
But she soon starts experiencing paranormal and abnormal activities in the region.
What is the abnormal activities about and how is Kavipriya related to it forms the core plot of the movie.
Director Arun KR has took up an interesting plot and has delivered it in an convincing manner.
The movie which begins as a love story slowly changes tone once Kavipriya goes out of town.
While the plot is interesting, the director could have focussed more on the screenplay and writing.
Kavipriya Manoharan is one of the biggest strengths of the movie. The way in which she carries the role is commendable.
She is impressive throughout the movie and has delivered a neat performance.
Michael Thangadurai fits the character perfectly. He has done his part well.
Rest of the cast including Kalairani and Sriranjini have all delivered what was expected from them.
Music by Jeshwant and Vivek is interesting and gels well with the theme of the movie.
Cinematography by Surya Vaithy complements the director’s vision. Rest of the technical aspects are passable.
Rating: 3.5/5
