“ஓடிடி என்பது காலத்தின் கட்டாயம். தமிழ்நாட்டில் ஒரு பெரிய நிறுவனம் ஏ.வி.எம் நிறுவனம். அவர்கள் இன்று ஓ.டி.டி தளத்தில் கால் பதிக்கிறார்கள் என்றால் இது காலத்தின் கட்டாயம். அடுத்த கட்டம் ஓடிடி தளம் என்பதால் நான் கூட ஒடிடி தளம் துவங்குவேன் ..எதற்கு என்றால் சிறிய தயாரிப்பாளர்களுக்கும், புதிய இயக்குநர்களுக்கும், போராடும் படைப்பாளிகளுக்கு தேவை ஒரு தளம். அதற்கு நாங்கள் ஏற்படுத்தித் தருகிறோம் ஒரு களம். தியேட்டரில் கட்டணங்களைக் குறைக்க வேண்டும் என்று நான் பல காலமாக சொல்லி வருகிறேன். ரெயிலில் கூட பர்ஸ்ட் க்ளாஸ், செகண்ட் க்ளாஸ்,இருக்கு. சினிமா தியேட்டரில் மட்டும் எல்லாம் ஒரே சீட்டு! இது என்ன சர்வதிகார நாடா? இல்ல ஜனநாயக நாடா? டிக்கெட் 100,150 என்று இருந்தால் ஒரு ஏழை எப்படி குடும்பத்தோடு படம் பார்க்க முடியும்?
