First of all, my heartfelt wishes to @Yuvrajganesan. Every film from @MillionOffl Studios is known for its quality and is appreciated by the audience. I’m very happy that we are travelling together on this journey.
Everyone has worked extremely hard for this film, from the director to every department and the entire cast and crew. As producers, we are also putting in our best efforts to take the film to the audience in the best way possible.
This is another film we are doing together with Yuvaraj and Million Dollar Studios. I hope we continue this association with many more successful films in the future. I strongly believe Once More will become another memorable success for all of us.
I have been following @isrikanthmv ’s work since his short film days and have wanted to work with him for a long time. Whatever good things you see and feel in this film, all the credit should go to the director. Even if Once More becomes a big hit, he deserves all the appreciation.
The film was delayed for two years. I worked on other films during this time, but Vignesh never got distracted. He went through a lot and worked very hard, and I’m sure all his efforts will pay off after the release.
@thinkmusicindia has bought the audio rights for a big price, and I’m sure it will be worth it. @heshamawmusic has given more than 10 solid and soulful songs. I’m confident he will become very busy in Tamil after this film. I even asked the director to suggest three music directors, but he was very clear about Hesham Abdul and never considered another option.
@AditiShankarofl was already doing big films like Viruman and Maaveeran. We couldn’t offer her the salary she was getting for her previous films, but she still joined us and has given her best.
@iam_arjundas has always been very passionate about this film. Even through all the delays, he stood by our team. The only thing we can give him now is a big hit, and I’m very confident about it. Once More is a very genuine film with no gimmicks.
August 28th is a special day as #AnbeDiana is releasing on OTT and Once More is releasing in theatres on the same day I did not invest or produce Anbe Diana, and I even requested him not to mention my name, but he still credited me as one of the producers. During that time, I travelled with him and that’s when he told me about Once More.
I watched Once More and it felt like a Haiku poem. I really wanted to be associated with this film in some way. Producer @Yuvrajganesan always praises @iam_arjundas and says he is completely focused on his work. He even told me that he would be happy to make 10 films with Arjun Das.
@AditiShankarofl has done a fabulous job, and @editorNash has beautifully cut the film. The songs are also lovely. Just like how fans ask for more in mass hero films, I’m sure audiences will ask for Once More in theatres after hearing these songs. I’m very proud to stand alongside Producer Yuvaraj.
#OnceMore was supposed to be my debut film but it got delayed. @Yuvrajganesan from @MillionOffl gave me my first opportunity as an editor. A lot has changed in our lives during this time but the freshness we had when we started this film is still there. I’m sure the audience will feel the same freshness when they watch it.
Once More was supposed to be my first Tamil film, as I committed to this project even before Maaman. The film talks about an important aspect of love and life. Thanks to the director for giving me such amazing lyrics for the songs.
I’m very confident that both the film and its songs will stay in the audience’s hearts for a long time. Personally, after Hridayam, I feel Once More is my most wholesome album.
Anything we do for the first time is always special, and that’s why this film and the team are very close to my heart. Thanks to the director and the entire crew for giving me the character Indhra. @im_arjundas also treated me to lots of Indian food during the shoot.
I’m feeling very emotional today, and I’ll try my best not to cry while speaking. I’m in cinema because of Mani Ratnam Sir, and I owe him a lot. In fact, Once More is my love letter to Mani Sir.
I’m very thankful to director Ranjith Jeyakodi for referring me to this production house. @iam_arjundas is the reason I completed this script. He kept motivating me to write, and he has brought his character to life perfectly. Only while editing the film did I realise how much he has contributed to the role.
Once More is a love film with many weddings and 13 songs, so we had to shoot montages throughout the day. @AditiShankarofl kept the sets happy and lively. The visual style you see in the film was planned together by me and cinematographer Arvind Viswanathan.
@editorNash is a very knowledgeable editor. He understands the pulse of a film and also has a great sense of the script. @heshamawmusic completely owned this film. Even during the delay, he kept surprising me with fresh and soulful tracks. Every time I visited his studio, he made the film feel new again.
Many people asked me about the film’s delay over the past two years, but Hesham made that journey easier for me. I would go to Kochi once in two months, get a new song from him and feel happy creating something with him.
My direction team stood by me like a pillar through all the hurdles. My short films were never viral, they were very niche, but @Yuvrajganesan liked my work and immediately connected with the one-line I narrated to him.
There were many rumours about issues between me and Arjun Das or between me and Yuvaraj, but there was nothing like that. Yuvaraj has gone through much more than me during these two years. He always gave me complete freedom, even with major decisions. The songs and visual aesthetics you see in the film are all possible because of his trust.
I really want to work with Yuvaraj again on a magical film that can be completed and released quickly. Once More is inspired by a phase of my personal life, and today I feel completely fulfilled seeing that experience turned into this film and becoming a beautiful memory for me.
Hats off to the director for his work and especially for his patience. He has truly put his heart and even his heartbreak into this film.
This film came to me at a time when I wasn’t in a good place in my life. I’m very emotional about it because every day on the sets felt like a relief and brought me so much happiness.
I was already a big fan of @iam_arjundas, and he is an amazing co-star. We have all seen and loved him in villain roles, but in Once More, he has given a beautiful performance as a lover boy.
I got introduced to director @isrikanthmv through a common friend when he was assisting Bejoy Nambiar on Por. He told me he had written the Tamil dialogues, and it felt like a pre-workshop. When he narrated the script to me, I instantly agreed.
What he didn’t tell me was that before @MillionOffl came on board, he had narrated the story to many production houses. They liked the story but wanted him to change the hero because of my previous roles. But Vignesh never gave up and was very particular that I should play the lead. I’m very happy to be part of a full-fledged feel-good film like this.
I suggested @heshamawmusic name to Vignesh. I had personally called and appreciated his work after Hridayam, and we had already discussed working together someday. I’m very thankful that he came on board.
@AditiShankarofl is the soul of this movie. She is going to go places after this film. She was very formal with me on the first day, but the ice broke soon after. She started calling me Das-uh and became a very close friend. Her energy on the sets kept the entire film lively. Both the heroines made me feel very comfortable.
Producer @Yuvrajganesan took great care of me and the entire team. He is very passionate about cinema, and I’m hoping the success streak of @MillionOffl continues with Once More.
This is a film full of heart and hope. My family, especially my mother, always wanted me to do a film without bloodshed, violence or abusive language. Once More is that film for me. There is heartbreak in the story, but it comes with a hopeful note.
