Director Aishwarya Rajinikanth has officially launched her next directorial venture, titled ‘Texla’, with a grand pooja ceremony in Chennai attended by celebrities like Seeman and Samuthirakani.
In an interesting casting choice, the film features Tamil actor Jai alongside acclaimed Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, both of whom are sharing the screen with the director for the first time.
Suraj is reportedly playing the role of Jai’s father, bringing a high degree of acting caliber to this family-oriented drama set against a rural backdrop decades ago.
With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film is being produced by KRG Group on a grand scale and will be released in all major South Indian languages and Hindi.
The plot is rumored to revolve around the world of children and the simple magic of cinema, a nostalgic shift from Aishwarya’s previous works.
