Varun Tej’s “Korean Kanakaraju”: An Indo-Korean horror comedy

On the occasion of Varun Tej’s birthday, the title glimpse of his 15th film, ‘Korean Kanakaraju’, was officially unveiled.
Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, this unique Indo-Korean crossover features Varun Tej in a “never-before-seen” role as a lethal protagonist.
The glimpse shows him sporting a lungi, a trident tattoo, and striking icy blue eyes while wielding a katana to take down a squad of Korean police.
The teaser sets a dark but humorous tone, starting with actor Satya being interrogated in Korea while Ritika Nayak watches from the shadows.
Music director Thaman S has provided a high-energy score that complements the “mass” transformation of Varun Tej in this genre-bending project.
Produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, the film features atmospheric visuals of blood-red moons and eerie Korean landscapes.
