Kannada actor Upendra has joined the cast of Ram Pothineni’s upcoming Telugu film, tentatively titled ‘RAPO 22’.
The makers unveiled his character poster showcasing him in a slick ensemble—an overcoat paired with sunglasses—as he stands confidently, surrounded by flashing lights and the media.
In an X post shared by Ram Pothineni, the actor said “Honoured to present our Superstar Upendra garu as ‘SURYA KUMAR’ – a tribute to the Spirit of Every Superstar we admire and look up to.”
The film is directed by Mahesh Babu P, who made his directorial debut with Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty’s ‘Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’.
Bhagyashree Borse plays the female lead in the entertainer, which is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.
