Rashmika Mandanna is set to embrace a fierce new avatar in her upcoming action thriller, ‘Mysaa’. The film officially commenced its journey with a traditional pooja ceremony held in Hyderabad.
‘Mysaa’, written and directed by Rawindra Pulle, is touted to be one of Rashmika’s most physically demanding roles to date, with reports suggesting she will portray a tribal woman.
The first-look poster, unveiled last month, already teased her intense transformation, showcasing a blood-smeared, wild-haired look, clutching a sword, accompanied by the tagline: “She roars. Not to be heard, but to be feared.”
The pooja ceremony saw prominent figures from the industry in attendance. Producer Suresh Babu gave the inaugural clap, Ravi Kiran Kola switched on the camera, and director Hanu Raghavapudi handed over the bound script for the first shot.
The film is produced by Ajay and Anil Bayyapureddy under the banner UnFormula Films.
Renowned action director Andy Long, known for his work in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Commando’, has joined the team, promising high-octane action sequences.
