The makers of ‘Ramayana’ have postponed the public release of the film’s trailer, which was originally expected to debut during San Diego Comic-Con. Producer Namit Malhotra announced that the preview will instead be unveiled worldwide at a later date.
Sharing the update on social media, Malhotra said the decision follows the film’s collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, a partnership aimed at introducing ‘Ramayana’ to international audiences on a larger scale.
He described the project as an opportunity to showcase one of India’s most celebrated epics to viewers across the globe, comparing its worldwide rollout to that of major Hollywood productions. Thanking fans for their continued support, he said the team hopes the film will inspire greater appreciation for Indian culture and storytelling among audiences everywhere.
Before the announcement, the cast and crew had reportedly gathered in Delhi for a private screening of the trailer, but the public release has now been rescheduled.
