The makers of the Ram Charan’s wrestling drama, ‘Peddi’, have officially announced that the film will no longer hit theaters on its original April 30 date.
In a heartfelt note to fans, the production team clarified that while the talkie part is complete, one final song is yet to be shot and the post-production team requires more time for technical “perfection.”
“It is our duty to give you nothing but the best theatrical experience. So, we’ve decided to push the release to June,” the statement from Vriddhi Cinemas and Mythri Movie Makers read.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features music by A.R. Rahman, with the hit track “Chikiri Chikiri” already crossing 200 million views.
The new official release date is expected to be announced very soon, as fans eagerly await Charan’s transformation into a powerful “Peddi Pehelwan.”
