Following its theatrical run, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s spiritual action thriller ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’ is heading to digital screens.
Netflix has officially announced that the film will begin streaming on January 9, 2026, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, the sequel follows the titular Aghora as he protects the world from a new biological threat involving ancient rituals and modern science.
The film stars Samyuktha Menon as the female lead and features Aadhi Pinisetty as a formidable villain who faces off against Balakrishna’s superhuman “Ashta Siddhi” powers.
With high-decibel music by S.S. Thaman, this pan-Indian project is expected to find a massive audience on the streaming platform during the holiday weekend.
