On the occasion of hero Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday, the makers of VD14 officially announced the project.
To be directed by ‘Taxiwaala’ fame Rahul Sankrityan, the film has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead.
This as-yet-untitled film marks Vijay and Rashmika’s hat-trick film together after ‘Dear Comrade’ and ‘Geetha Govindam’.
According to the latest updates, the project will be going on floors in October this year. Rahul Sankrityan is currently busy with the pre-production formalities.
Touted as a period action drama set in the Rayalaseema region during British rule, the film will have a pan-Indian release next year.
More details about the film’s cast and crew is expected to be out in the coming days. Mythri Movie Makers banner is producing this project with a huge budget.
