The Telugu film industry is buzzing with news of a major multi-starrer featuring Chiranjeevi and popular Tamil actor Karthi.
This project, tentatively titled MEGA158, will be directed by Bobby Kolli, who previously delivered the blockbuster ‘Waltair Veerayya’ with Chiranjeevi.
The film is reportedly a hilarious comedy with a strong dose of action. Reports suggest Karthi will not have a mere cameo but a full-fledged second lead role in the venture, similar to how Ravi Teja was cast alongside Chiranjeevi in ‘Waltair Veerayya’ .
This marks a significant crossover, leveraging Karthi’s huge following among Telugu audiences, especially after his pan-Indian hits like Kaithi and ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
The music is set to be composed by Thaman S, with cinematography handled by Karthik Gattamneni.
Filming is expected to begin in February 2026.
