Actor Jr NTR has been discharged from a Hyderabad hospital after undergoing arthroscopic surgery for a shoulder injury.
The actor underwent the procedure at the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences on Wednesday. A team of orthopaedic specialists carried out the surgery, following which doctors monitored his recovery.
According to a statement from the hospital, Jr NTR was in stable condition at the time of discharge. He will now undergo a rehabilitation programme under medical supervision as part of his recovery.
Doctors expect the actor to gradually return to his regular activities over the next two to three months, depending on his rehabilitation and progress.
Jr NTR, the grandson of Telugu Desam Party founder and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N T Rama Rao, also acknowledged the support he received from fans and well-wishers.
In a social media message, the actor thanked people for their prayers and concern during his treatment and expressed his gratitude for the affection shown towards him.
