Ram Charan is briskly shooting his new film ‘Peddi’, which is being mounted on a massive scale by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. The action drama is all set to hit the screens on March 17, 2026.
It is now said that Netflix has bagged the digital rights to the film. Two major OTT platforms were also in the race to acquire the rights, but the makers chose Netflix as their film’s digital partner.
The special aspect is that the digital rights to the film have been sold for a whopping Rs 105 crore, which is a record for any Telugu film to date.
A new schedule of the film will go on floors by the end of this month, as per the latest update. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in this film, and she has yet to join the sets.
Kannada star Shivaraj Kumar will be seen in a special role, and he has already shot for his character.
A.R. Rahman is composing music for a Telugu film after a long gap, and he has already wrapped up four songs for the film.
