Actor Arun Vijay has suffered a hamstring injury while shooting for his upcoming Tamil action film ‘Irulan’. The actor was hurt while filming an action sequence and is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
Arun Vijay shared the update through his Instagram Stories, revealing that he had torn his hamstring muscle during the shoot. He said the injury had interrupted his usual routine but remained positive about making a stronger comeback.
The actor has been following an intensive fitness regimen for ‘Irulan’ to develop the physical appearance required for his role. He had earlier posted glimpses of his demanding gym sessions as part of his preparation.
Directed by Muthaiya, ‘Irulan’ is set against the backdrop of the Tirunelveli-Thoothukudi region of Tamil Nadu. Arun Vijay is expected to resume filming after completing his recovery.
