.Chinmayi Sripadha, popular singer and dubbing artiste, has come forward to sing and send songs through social media to help people, especially daily wage labourers who are in need of money in this lockdown period.
She said, ““I’ve been asked to sing and send songs/ birthday wishes videos to people via social media. And have been doing this too. Decided I’ll do it for charity.”
Chinmayi, who is known for spearheading #MeToo Movement, said further: “I have made a list of people who were dependent on daily incomes and are badly hit. Transfer money to them..send me a screenshot..and I ‘ll video record a personalized birthday wish/song and send it to you.”
“For the sake of beneficiaries’ privacy and dignity, I am not revealing their details on a public platform. These are people dependent on daily incomes who have been severely affected by the lockdown. Details will be shared in private,” she added.
