A heartwarming comedy
“YOLO”
– Review
‘YOLO’ is a romantic comedy about two strangers, Shiva and Deekshitha, who wake up to find they are married after a mysterious night.
The rest of the movie is about them trying to figure out how this happened and the events that led to their strange situation.
Their search for answers leads to many funny and emotional moments as they navigate their unplanned marriage.
Director S. Sam has put a new spin on a familiar story. He handles the subject with a gentle and real approach, focusing on the difficulties and societal expectations young couples face.
This makes the film more than just a simple comedy. The movie’s dialogue is clever and feels current, which is why younger audiences like it so much.
Dev K. and Devika Satheesh, who are new actors, have a lovely on-screen chemistry that feels very natural.
Dev K. portrays Shiva with a mix of confusion and charm, while Devika Satheesh brings a relatable honesty to her role as Deekshitha.
Badava Gopi provides good comic relief, and the other actors also do well in their roles, adding to the film’s light and cheerful feeling.
The music by Sagishna Xavier and editing by A L Ramesh help to keep the story moving at a good pace, making the overall experience enjoyable and engaging for the audience. The cinematography by Sooraj Nalluswamy uses bright and lively colors to match the film’s romantic and comedic tone.
