The motion poster of Dhanush’s upcoming flick ‘Maaran’ which was released on Pongal has confirmed that the movie will skip theatrical release. The poster has mentioned that the movie will be released in Disney+ Hotstar.
The movie is directed by Karthick Naren and is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan. Music for the movie is by G V Prakash.
It may be noted that Dhanush recently commenced shooting for ‘Vaathi’ directed by Venky Atluri. The actor is also part of ‘The Gray Man’ and ‘Maaran’.
It has been already confirmed that ‘The Gray Man’ will have a direct OTT release.
Dhanush’s last few flicks including ‘Karnan’, ‘Jagame Thandhiram’, and ‘Arrangi Re’ were all released in OTT. Sources said it has been decided to release ‘Maaran’ too on OTT due to the prevailing Covid situation in the country.
