Shooting for ‘Thalapathy 66’ starring Vijay and directed by Vamshi Paidipally commenced recently and the first schedule has also been wrapped up. This was a short schedule in which a song sequence was shot.
While the team had originally planned to shoot most portions in Hyderabad, it is said that Vijay has requested the producers to shift base to Chennai as it will benefit the FEFSI members.
The makers too have agreed to this condition and have started erecting a set in Chennai. This gesture by Vijay is being hailed by the members of FEFSI.
Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in as the female lead. Thaman will compose the music for the movie. Dil Raju and Shirish of Sri Venkateswara Creations will produce the film.
