The teaser of Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming flick ‘Maamanithan’ was released recently.
Vijay Sethupathi plays an auto driver in the movie. He narrates his story to his daughter and the changes that take place in his life.
The flick directed by Seenu Ramasamy was cleared by the censor board with a ‘U’ certificate.
Now the makers have announced that the movie will be released on 20 May.
The director had recently announced that the post production work for the movie has been completed.
‘Maamanithan’ features Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie, Guru Somasundaram and others.
Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are scoring the music for the film.
It may be noted that R K Suresh recently bagged the theatrical rights of the movie.
