Following the tremendous success of ‘Pushpa 2’: The Rule, Rashmika Mandanna is now preparing for her next big release, ‘The Girlfriend’, a pan-Indian film.
Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the movie’s teaser was recently unveiled by Vijay Deverakonda.
The teaser opens with Vijay Deverakonda’s voice, praising the beauty of the female lead, while glimpses of Rashmika’s college love life unfold on screen.
While the exact storyline remains under wraps, it’s clear that Rashmika’s character is struggling with her complicated relationship with the male lead, Dheekshith Shetty (‘Dasara’ fame).
Anu Emmanuel will also appear in a special role, alongside other prominent actors. Presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Vidya Koppineedi and Dheeraj Mogilineni under the banners of Mass Movie Makers and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment, the film features music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
