Vetrimaaran announces postponement of ‘Vaadivasal’

Director Vetrimaaran has officially confirmed the postponement of his much-anticipated film with actor Suriya.

The project, titled ‘Vaadivasal’, based on the traditional Jallikattu sport, has faced multiple delays since its announcement.

Vetrimaaran, while recently discussing his new film with Silambarasan, clarified that ‘Vaadivasal’ has been pushed back due to various reasons, primarily citing the challenging nature of the writing process for the rural sports drama.

He also mentioned significant time being dedicated to technical preparations and safety measures.

Reports suggest that Suriya has allocated dates initially reserved for ‘Vaadivasal’ to his new film with director Venky Atluri.

Furthermore, it’s understood that Suriya has insisted on a complete, single-part script before commencing the project, a condition Vetrimaaran has reportedly agreed to.

With ‘Vaadivasal’ requiring more time, Vetrimaaran decided to proceed with his project with Silambarasan.
