A new and exciting collaboration is set to happen in Tamil cinema. Legendary comedian Vadivelu will be sharing screen space with actor Karthi for the first time in the upcoming film, ‘Marshal’.
The film is a period action drama set in the 1960s and centers on a story about pirates. It is being directed by Tamizh, who is known for his critically acclaimed debut, ‘Taanakkaran’.
While the details of Vadivelu’s character have not been revealed, his addition to the cast has sparked immense curiosity, with fans speculating whether he will play a comedic or a more serious, pivotal role.
The film, which also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead, is currently under production, with major portions being filmed in and around Rameswaram, where a large set has reportedly been constructed.
