Vijay is all set to celebrate his 50th birthday on June 22, 2024, and fans are gearing up to celebrate the actor’s birthday.
As a treat to the fans of the actor, his blockbuster movie ‘Thuppakki ‘will be re-released in theaters to mark the special occasion.
According to the latest reports, the makers have decided to release the movies in theaters on June 21. The film was originally released on November 13, 2012.
The film follows the life of an army captain who is on a mission to track down and destroy a terrorist gang and deactivate the sleeper cells under its command.
Kajal Aggarwal played the female lead in the movie which had music by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography by Santhosh Sivan.
This will be the second re-release for Vijay this year. Earlier in April, the 2004 blockbuster film ‘Ghilli’ was re-released and collected Rs 20 crore.
