Speculations were rife about Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi opting out of ‘Thug Life’ due to scheduling issues.
However, now the issues seem to have been sorted, and director Mani Ratnam appears to be securing his original choices for the cast.
According to reports, Dulquer and Jayam Ravi have returned to the project, and actor Simbu, who was allegedly approached as a replacement for Dulquer’s role, will be given another role.
It’s said that Simbu might be seen in a double role in the movie, which is headlined by Kamal Haasan.
The production of ‘Thug Life’ is now on hold owing to the impending Lok Sabha elections.
Kamal is actively campaigning for the DMK candidates across the state of Tamil Nadu and has temporarily taken a break from his film commitments.
‘Thug Life’ also stars Trisha, Joju George, and Gautham Karthik in key roles.
