Vikram’s much-anticipated film ‘Thangalaan’ is gearing up for release in August.
With the film due to release on August 15 for the Independence Day weekend, the makers are preparing to release the trailer of ‘Thangalaan’ very soon.
The trailer is said to officially state the release date of the film.
As per the social media buzz, it is believed that the trailer of ‘Thangalaan’ has been censored. The trailer will run for two minutes and 12 seconds and will also be accompanied by the release date.
‘Thangalaan’ is directed by filmmaker Pa Ranjith and scores of fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the film.
The film is said to be a period drama, set against the backdrop of Kolar Gold Fields.
Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical rights to the movie. It will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, after ‘Thangalaan’ finishes its theatrical run.
