The Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen-starrer ‘Thalaivan Thalaivii’ has officially crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in its global box office collection.
The milestone comes just a few days after the film’s premiere on Prime Video.
The production house, Sathya Jyothi Films, confirmed the achievement on social media, calling the film a “unanimous blockbuster.”
Directed by Pandiraj, the romantic action-comedy was a major success at the box office, particularly with family audiences.
However, its OTT release has sparked a new wave of debate, with a segment of the online audience finding the film’s depiction of marital conflict “cringe” and “toxic.”
Despite the mixed reactions, the film’s financial success is a testament to its strong theatrical run and continued viewership on streaming platforms.
