The latest buzz is that Amazon Prime Video has ordered the second season of its hit Tamil web series ‘Suzhal’.
Created by Pushkar and Gayathri, the sequel reportedly will follow the aftermath of the events of the first season.
According to reports, the pre-production work of the series is going on and the showrunners are also doing initial test shoots.
An official confirmation on the same, however, is awaited. It’s said that the showrunners have retained all the key characters from season one. However, more details are awaited.
Suzhal: The Vortex made its debut on Amazon Prime Video on June 17 last year to mixed reviews. Written by Pushkar and Gayathri, the eight-episode series was directed by Bramma G and Anucharan Murugaiyan.
Set against the backdrop of a hill station, Suzhal follows the investigation into a twin murder that shocked the consciousness of the otherwise sleepy town.
